Chintz as it was before we English commandeered the name and produced a printed cotton. This is hand painted with dyes, each colour fixed with it's mordant before the next is applied.
This is extremely skilled work, not allowing the dyes to run and bleed into the colours around it. We are delighted to be the 1st to show you this reviving technique.
