Manufactured for a client the base stone was exported to India to be inlaid so that the border would perfectly match the colour of the main floor. A series of sq and rectangular borders inlaid with semi precious stones in a traditional pattern. All hand cut and applied. The slivers of stone cut for the inlay cut by a traditional method of a tensioned bow, string abrasive paste water and a lot of time and patience.
